AFL OB

My roles for the AFL OB which was held on the 11th of september 2010 was Camera and Graphics Designer. I started the graphics at the start of the semester when we where originally going to do a soccor OB. With consultation with Jamal and Ryan they informed me that they wanted something similar to an ESPN one for the basket ball this:

So for the Soccor This is what I had Originally Come up with:



I ended up changing it a little this is what it looked like:





When the Soccor was scrapped and I was told we where going to film the local AFL instead I started watching the football that was on TV to see what kind of graphics were needed and what was the standard sort of images the different networks use. The images below are ones that I got inspiration from and gave me an idea of what information the graphics would need to tell.

The Buzz

My role for the Buzz was originaly CG operator, however they decided to do all the graphics in post which meant on the day I ended up being just a general assist. The day went ok I helped set up, bump out and I made every ones lunch (cooking all the sausages). Was a pretty easy day.
